Inspection Background
On-Site Inspection: Hidden Defects Exposed
Initial checks looked fine, but rigorous inspection uncovered these flaws:
Defect 1: Scratches, Dent Marks, Poor Painting & Uneven Surface
Side lighting revealed fine scratches, subtle dent marks and uneven surfaces on aluminum bodies. 15% of samples had poor painting—mismatched anodized colors between body and edges— a turnoff for Korean consumers.

Defect 2: Burrs & Poor Painting on Edges
Rounded edges (for comfort) had 0.1mm burrs and uneven surfaces from shoddy polishing. Worse, poor painting caused exposed metal— a glaring craftsmanship defect.
Defect 3: Adhesive Residue & Uneven Surface in Magnetic Area

Targeted Rectification & Re-inspection
- Scratches, dent marks, poor painting & uneven surface: Re-screen materials, enhance product protection, re-anodize and polish defective units for a uniform finish.
- Burrs & edge poor painting: Add "fine polishing + manual check" to smooth uneven surfaces, upgrade painting, and conduct visual/tactile inspections.
- Adhesive residue: Optimize assembly with "alcohol wipe + UV clean" post-glue curing for a clean, flat magnetic area.
